Eeeew

Moya loves to eat. She knows the food goes in her mouth but she also seems to think that her skin can absorb it.

Hair

Moya is very very smart... she can count to 10, knows her ABCs, has over 100 words in her vocabulary, and can form sentences.

... but these photos explain more why I think she may be Einstein reincarnated. :)

I love my baby's glorious head full of curls!

My Little Toy

Moya likes to dump out enough toys from her bin so that she can climb in and sit in it. :) She's my little toy!

Moya and Mommy Time

Moya and I spent some time together playing in the pool. She enjoyed it so much! As did I! She also loves stealing my water to drink! I guess it tastes better. :)

Beaters

Poor Gaga. It use to be when I would make cookies I'd give the beaters to Belle and Gaga. No more. :) Moya has now reached the point of being a beater eater. And she L O V E S them! The only problem with giving Moya a beater... no not the mess she is actually pretty clean with them.... the problem is when she's done and you have to take it away. She flips out saying "again! again!" :)

Yuck

Maybe this is why she has such smooth pretty skin.

Bye Bye

My girls like to wave at me from the window when we leave for work in the morning. I love seeing them there smiling at me. Hate having to drive away but they are so sweet smiling and waving.

Big Red Car

We got out Belle's old Big Red car toy. Moya loves it. But she likes to play mechanic and kept crawling under it and playing under there.

Derby Day Parade and Carnaval

Derby Day again! :)

Derby Day! Moya had more fun this year I think. But still slept for a lot of it. It was also supper hot. She seemed pretty misserable by the time we got to the fair. But once home with no clothing and ice cream all over her she was much much happier!

Bubbles... Yum!

Seriously, what do they put in bubble solution that makes them taste good to kids. Most every night in the bath both Moya and Belle want bubbles and will try and eat them. Moya will even hold her mouth open and want me to place one on her tongue. I tried one the other night to see what the big deal was and it tasted terrible! But they yum them up! Weirdos. :)

Climber

We've gone from rooting in our toy box to climbing on it. Unfortunately that means Mommy had to be the meany and move it out of the play pin. Wouldn't take her too long to climb up and stand on it and get over the gate. Still super cute. She was proud of herself getting up there. :)

Mommy's Water

Moya is a drink theif (just like her sister!). Note in this picture that her water is sitting right beside her, yet Mommy's water is what we want. Apparently it tastes better.

Counting! ... No Really!!

Moya can count! Seriously she can count to at least 4, and I think up to 6.

Last night it was really warm... hot in the house. She didn't like it and didn't want to go to sleep in it. She hated the heat but didn't like having a fan blowing on her either. It wasn't so bad in her room if you were still and not bundled up in mommy's arms. I decided to just lay her in her crib and sing to her and hope that she would lay down and fall asleep. Well it wasn't working. :) She was standing up in her crib cruising around. I said, jokingly of course, "Moya lay down. I'm gonna count to 3 and you better be laying down." I said "1..." and next thing I hear is her saying in the absolutely cutest way, "twooo... freee (three)..." My jaw dropped! I picked her up and took her out into the living room to show daddy. She did it again!

I then let her play in her playpen in the living room awhile and we counted together. She got up to 6 but you can tell her confidence is 1-4.

Now if this isn't amazing enough it gets better! So I figured, and commented to Gaga this morning how it's amazing that Moya knows the sequence of saying 1 through 4 and maybe 5 and 6 but that we know she doesn't really get the concept of true counting yet. Well... we were wrong! This evening she is looking at one of her books, a baby counting book. You know the ones that have 5 pictures of balls with the number 5 on the page. Really simple. Anyway, Moya was on the page with hats. She first would point to the hat and say "haht" which is how she says "hat" and then she would pat her head! That was cool in itself that she knows what they are and where they go. But then she starts pointing to one of the hats and says "One." then to the next hat "Twoo..." and the next "Three..." she was COUNTING them!!

I guess that big ole head really is holding a big and amazing brain. :)

Swimming

Moya LOVES water. She loves her baths, and she loves her little pool! We bought Belle a bigger pool for out back and on a whim I got this little pink one for 7 dollars. I am SO glad I did! It is just Moya's size. She can sit and splash around in it without being in over her head or having to worry about big sister knocking her over. Of course she is never left unsupervised in it but we can walk around and play with both her and Belle with her sitting in there. Couldn't do that with her in the other pool.

She loves it but oh man how she wants to play in the big pool with Belle. She shrieks with glee when Belle goes down the slide from the playground into the pool! When I take her into the big pool she scrabbles over to the slide and tries to climb up it like Belle does. I've taken her down the slide a few times and she just loves it. :)

And I have to say I just love her little swim suits too! She is such a cutie pie.

Passed Out

Moya has been fighting sleep time lately. Sometimes we'll fight it out with her, other times we just have to let her pass out on her own. This was one of those times. She looks like a little toy herself.

The Count "Ah ah ah!"

This is so cute. Moya as you know loves Sesame Street. While The Count I wouldn't say is her most favorite character she does like him and she has his laugh down.
