Moya loves many things but there has come to be an obsessive combination. She loves iphones, A-Ha, and A-ha's lead singer Morten Harket. How wonderful than that daddy found A-Ha's video "Take On Me" on the iphone and showed it to Moya. Last night I let her watch it and she would NOT give it up.If we tried to take it away she would fuss and then just start balling. When we'd give it to her she would give us the most heartfelt wonderful "Thank you!" (pronounced: Dank cooo). The videos of her watching it I got are awesome. In one she starts to sing along with it, another she says "yeah" in response to my asking if she likes it. Plenty of "Dank coos" and one you can see the beginning of the withdrawal fit after the video ends.
But Moya isn't just into the one song A-Ha is known best for. No she loves all A-ha. Brad has on the Xbox some of their music and photos of the band run through a slide show as it plays. Moya always smiles and blows kisses to Morten. In one photo he is holding out his hands and Moya will do the same when she sees that.
The other day on the way home from the field trip she was getting sleepy and grumpy. I put on A-Ha and she instantly stopped and just listened and then calmed down and eventually dozed off.
Hey... my kids have good taste in music. :)
