Isis

Isis has been having declining health for several weeks now. It became clear this past few days that it was going to be time to say goodbye. Belle has been the one really torn up about this (and me too of course), but Moya senses something is off. Today we decided it was time. I was going to go pick up Belle early from school since I knew she wanted to be there but before I let Moya say goodbye. She didn't know why or what was going on but I wanted her and Isis to be able to cuddle one last time. Moya and Isis have always been close. Isis took a liking to her right away, wanted to sleep in her crib, would climb up in her lap when I held her as a baby. She would be so patient with her grabbing and eating her ears. :) Would let Moya hug her and roll on her. Such a good kitty. We will miss her so much. She didn't get long enough with us but I think we made her years good and she passed away so peacefully in Belle's arms knowing we loved her with all our hearts. Rest in peace sweet Isis.

Snow Trip

So didn't look like we were going to get any snow this year so we decided to drive to it. It isn't really that far to snow. So we loaded up and headed out. It was about an hour or so drive. We were doing fine until we came to this one stretch of road that went over a lake and there was NO place to turn around. The problem was, Moya had been playing with my ipad and the road got twisty and suddenly she turned pale and looked like she was going to vomit. Major carsickness. The first chance we got we stopped to turn around but first let her get out and walk around for a few minutes. She got better pretty quickly but was not keen to get back in the car. She did however and we found a place to play in the snow pretty quickly. We had fun. They had a hill for kids to sled down and plenty of room to just play in the snow. Some kids had previously made a dugout in a snow bank that the girls enjoyed playing it. It was like a tiny snowcave.

We had fun and stayed for a good long while before deciding the kids were frozen enough. We changed and headed home. Next year if we end up driving to snow again we know better where to go and what to bring. But it was good fun.

Urgent Care Trip

Poor baby has been really sick. Diarrhea, vomiting.. Just pitiful. But we got worried about her being dehydrated. Wasn't peeing a lot and not holding much down so we took her to urgent care. They were great to her. Putt her in a little gown and got her all comfy. They gave her some anti-nausea medication and then awhile after letting it take affect gave her a popsicle. By this time she was feeling much better and really enjoyed and had fun with that popsicle. :) She totally won over the nurse and the doctor with her personality. When the doctor came back to discharge her he asked how she was feeling and she said "oh much better. Thank you for fixing my tummy." He she could go home and get something to eat and asked what she wanted to have to eat. She said "Broccoli!" He about busted a gut laughing and asked if she could come teach his son to eat broccoli. He asked us if she really liked it and we confirmed it.

So we got her home and she was much better. Was able to get some broth to stay down and water and juice. Hopefully this'll be the end of the ickiness.

Just Us At The Park

Moya and I went up to the park in Bellevue. It was chilly but nice. We walked around the park several times and Moya loved to jump in the puddles. I can't describe what was so special about this outing but it was. It was just one of those moments where it was just me and my little girl hanging out. However it got cut short because someone decided jumping in the puddles wasn't enough and she decided to plop down in one. :) I couldn't be mad. It's what kids do.

"I'm Belle!"

Moya climbed into the spot at the table Belle usually sits at, put on her "Edna Mode" glasses and announced "I'm Belle!" and ate her breakfast. hehe

Happy 4th Birthday!

I can't believe my little girl is 4 years old. She wanted a party this year so we invited a few of her friends over. Addi and Mathew and Abby came. I also let Belle invite Antonio so she would have a friend there and I invited my friend Tanya and her son Zach who is close to Moya's age as well.

The party was a success. Just enough kids over for Moya to have fun but not so many as to drive the grownups crazy. :)

Prior to her party on her actual birthday Daddy and I took her out for lunch and for her first trip to Build-a-Bear! She picked out a rainbow teddybear (Moya LOVES rainbows). She was kinda nervous about filling it with fluff since she doesn't like loud noises but she got use to that. But she decided on a dry bath for the bear for the same reason... the 'bath' is loud. After that she picked out the most Moya outfit ever! A Lightning McQueen t-shirt and jean shorts with!.... A TUTU!! I've seen Moya wear the exact same outfit! SO Moya. :) She named the bear Sally (from the Sally in Cars) but we seem to just call her Rainbow- Bear. Either way it was so sweet and fun.

Moya, I love you so much. You have grown so much this year and getting more independent every day. I still am so happy to see you walking and running around after the trouble you had at the start. You wouldn't know it now. And you have friends at Auntie's you love playing with too which is so nice. But you are still so little and my little baby still. I know that won't last much longer as far as how you act and what you need from me. But you will ALWAYS be my baby. I love you my Momo.

Love, Mommy
