Last night was wonderful. Took Moya to bed but she was flopping around not wanting to lay still and go to sleep even though she was so obviously exhausted. I tried to cuddle her and hold her and even just let her flop. Nothing worked so I laid down next to her and pulled her into my arms on my chest and started to sing to her. I sang Stay Awake, then Feed the Birds, and finally Somewhere Over the Rainbow. By the time I finished the last song she was asleep and sighed as I laid her down onto her pillow. I laid next to her and just watched her sleep and then fell asleep myself.
I love being Moya's mommy.
